One of my essentials for going back to school would have to be light outerwear. Here in Georgia, it stays hot until about october, but that means nothing in the class room where it's probably below arctic temps (exaggeration but you know what I mean). It makes no sense to wear a jacket to class but you'll be sorry if you didn't. So a versatile lightweight jacket is an essential, thus the parka/anorak. Here are my top student budget picks:
